Your Google Shopping Margin Isn’t Where It Should Be
You’re Optimising For Revenue, Not Profit
Performance Max is designed to maximise conversions, not your most profitable sales. Revenue can climb while margins quietly shrink, leaving your business working harder for less return.
Your Best Products Aren’t Getting Seen
Your product feed decides which products Google shows and which it ignores. Missing data, poor optimisation and feed errors can quietly reduce visibility without ever appearing in your campaign dashboard.
Performance Max Is A Black Box
Performance Max bundles Shopping, Display, YouTube and Search into one black box. The wins are real but the visibility is not: you cannot see which placements converted, which audiences won, or whether brand searches are being cannibalised.
What We Manage
Google Shopping Campaigns Built Around Margin.
Successful Google Shopping campaigns rely on two things: a high-quality product feed and a smart campaign structure.
We optimise both together, improving how your products appear in Google while directing more budget
towards the products that generate the strongest commercial returns.

Feed Optimisation That Improves Visibility
Your product feed determines whether Google shows your products in the first place. We optimise titles, categories, attributes and Merchant Center issues to improve visibility and help more shoppers find the right products.

Campaigns Built Around Margin and Intent
Not every sale is worth the same. We structure campaigns around your product margins and buying intent, directing more budget to profitable products while reducing spend on low-margin lines.

Performance Max, Managed Properly
Performance Max is powerful, but it still needs direction. We optimise audiences, creative, product feeds and campaign settings to improve performance while maintaining visibility into where your budget is working hardest.

campaigns could be.
How It Works
From Product Feed To Profitable Growth
Google Shopping success starts long before someone clicks your ad. We optimise your product data, build campaigns
around profitability and continuously refine performance as your catalogue, competitors and Google’s algorithms evolve.
Your product feed is the foundation of every Shopping campaign. We improve titles, categories, attributes and Merchant Center health so Google can better understand your products and show them to the right shoppers.
Not every product deserves the same budget. We structure campaigns around product margins, buying intent and commercial value, helping your highest-value products receive the attention they deserve.
Shopping campaigns are never set and forget. We refine bids, feeds, campaign structure and Performance Max settings as new data comes in, helping you stay competitive while protecting profitability.

Other Paid Channels Worth Adding to Your Digital Marketing Strategy
Paid media breaks when every platform is managed like a separate bet. Google Ads, ChatGPT Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Microsoft all need a role in the same commercial journey. OMG connects the channel mix, budget decisions and reporting so you are not scaling one platform while another quietly drains spend.

Meta Ads
Your customers bounce between Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp interchangably. We follow them across all of it as one engine, with spend traced through to revenue in Gurulytics. Meta’s algorithm is built to optimise across all four together, and splitting them up leaves the strongest part of it on the table. Our Meta experts are here to help.

Questions Frequently Asked About
Google Shopping Advertising
Want to learn more? Here are some of the most common questions we hear day to day.
Standard Shopping gives you direct control: you see search terms, set bids by product group and exclude what you do not want to bid on. Performance Max bundles Shopping, Display, YouTube and Search into one campaign that Google runs against goals, with limited visibility into the placement-level performance. Both have their place. We run them together where each does what it does best, rather than defaulting to one.
The common offenders are missing or mismatched GTINs, image quality, prohibited content flags, attribute conflicts, landing-page mismatches and broken category mappings. The Merchant Center surfaces every disapproval; nobody reads it. We audit the feed as a standard first step and fix the issues before any budget moves.
Yes. Merchant Center setup, feed audit and ongoing feed optimisation are part of how we run Shopping accounts, not separate add-ons. The campaign performance is downstream of the feed quality, and treating them as separate jobs leaves money on the table.
Often, yes, when it is given proper inputs: audience signals, exclusion lists, well-structured asset groups and brand-search carve-outs to stop cannibalising your own organic. Run with defaults and no controls, it eats budget on brand search and low-intent placements. We use it where it produces and Standard Shopping where we need control.
Yes, and most accounts should. Standard Shopping and Performance Max cover the product-feed side; Search covers query intent that Shopping does not capture; Performance Max picks up audiences across YouTube, Display and Discover. We build the structure so they hand customers between them rather than competing for the same conversion.
There is no universal answer because the right ROAS depends on your margin. A 4x ROAS on a 60% margin product is profitable; the same ROAS on a 15% margin product loses money. We set targets against contribution margin, not topline ROAS, so you can tell whether the spend is actually paying for itself.
Feed corrections show in days. Campaign learning typically takes 14 to 30 days for the algorithm to settle on a stable performance baseline, assuming enough conversion volume. Performance Max specifically wants 50+ conversions across the campaign before it starts optimising reliably. We sequence the launch so feed quality and tracking are right before the campaign clock starts.
